'Arrested Development' star is a 'Demon'
Will Arnett is to topline forthcoming comedy 'Jeff the Demon'.
Nov 14 2005
Will Arnett ('Monster-In-Law'), has signed up to star in the supernatural comedy 'Jeff the Demon'.
Arnett, who is best known for his role in cult TV comedy 'Arrested Development' and who recently completed work on 'RV' opposite Robin Williams, will play the titular fiend in the high-concept comedy, which will be directed by James Bobbin ('Da Ali G Show').
The story, written by Tom Sharpling and Joe Ventura, revolves around a pair of high school losers who stumble across a book that enables them to summon Jeff, a fiendish spirit from the depths of hell.
This demon changes their lives for the better but, inevitably, his meddling is not without dire consequences.
'Jeff the Demon' is set to go into production early next year.
