Teaser for 'Apocalypto' arrives online

See what Mel Gibson has been up to since 'The Passion of the Christ'.

Dec 21 2005

The teaser for Mel Gibson's Mayan epic 'Apocalypto' has hit the net.

Kicking off with a quote from Will Durant ('A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within'), the trailer gives little away, so we're still somewhat in the dark about this one.

It is full of atmosphere and foreboding however, and suitably whets the appetite for what will doubtless be one of the big releases of 2006.

'Apocalypto' is set to hit UK screens next summer, and if you want to see the trailer, simply click here.
