'A Cock and Bull' interview
Time Out conducts an exclusive video interview with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.
Jan 18 2006
Chris Tilly recently caught up with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon in an exclusive London club to discuss the making of 'A Cock and Bull Story'. And while the pair were rather tired after a full day of interviews, they nevertheless had lots to say about working with director Michael Winterbottom, filming the supposedly unfilmmable and acting opposite each other. The following are edited highlights of what they had to say – simply click on the questions to download the video:
How did you both become involved with the film?
What is the film about?
Have either of you read the book and why did you decide to tackle such risky material?
How similar is the finished film to the original script?
When you saw the film, was there anything that surprised you about each other's work?
So how would you describe your respective performances?
'A Cock and Bull Story' is released on Friday (January 20). To read the magazine's Q&A with the pair, click here.
