  I just watched the Loose Change video off the internet. Just in the first viewing of it I found two glaring contradictions made by the omniscient voice over, and that was with just a casual viewing of it with interruptions by kids, wife, dog etc...
  Imagine the inconsistencies to be found if I watched it again and gave it some real attention.
  I guess my biggest problem with it is all the questions and very little answers. Are not "documentaries" suppose to "document" something? This film throws up ridiculous questions, tries to support them with illegible documents scrolling across the screen and unverifiable babble from the director/producer (an unbiased source, I'm sure!). Where are the experts? Show me the "scientific proof" that the voice claims so often but never provides... please. It is a compelling case for deception, but it just does not hold any credibility in the way it is presented. It makes for great drama, but lousy fact... and I really doubt the current administration is that smart and deceptive. Don't you think if they were willing to go to that extent, they would have been able to sneak at least one WMD into Baghdad?
  This couldn't be this young man's "claim to 15-minutes of fame" could it? Maybe that is the motivation? Maybe all the DVDs he is selling has something to do with it? Maybe this young man is not as pure in his motivations as he would have us to believe. Where is the proof that this young man is the altruistic (and pompous) champion of truth that he presents himself to be in this movie. That is probably just as hard to document as the lies that he has laid out in this "documentary". Posted on Apr 28 2006 21:37

  Loose Change is an obvious fraud. However, the useful info that can be gleaned from the phenomenon of its success is how so many people can be fooled by it.   They said the Empire state building was hit in 1947 by a B-52 bomber and didn't colapse. That's strange since the first B-52 wasn't built until 1955! The Empire State building was hit in 1947 by a B-25, perhaps they just mispoke and meant to say B-25? But I'm sure they thought a B-52 sounded a lot more impressive.
  Lets compare,
  B-25 total weight 33,000 lbs, fuel capacity 670 gal.
  757 total weight 255,000 lbs, fuel capacity over 11,000 gal.
  I'm thinking the Empire state building would collapse if hit by a 757.....

  just because you shout the loudest or write the most unfortunately doesnt make you correct S Lee. The 'zipper effect' or 'pancake theory' is a theory we had never heard about pre 911 nor since. One of the many problems with this theory is the absence of the 47 central steel columns that should have been left standing after the collapse. How did the 911 commission (set up by bush!) address this? they didn't. In fact , they lied. They told us the central core was a 'hollow steel shaft'. A blatant lie. Understand that. The commission set up to investigate 911 clearly and knowingly lied in order to give more credence to their own theory. The huge columns can be seen in pictures of the WTC construction. How did they consider the fall of building 7 ? they didn't. They ignored it. They couldn't explain it. Incidentally, the steel was shipped to china in days. The commission ignored this criminal act of removing evidence from a crime scene.
  As for the pentagon , what is wrong with this scenario.. Hani hanjour , a poor pilot who had limited experience with a cessna 172 gains control of a boeing 757 before the pilot can type in the 4 digit emergency code (available from a number of locations in the cockpit). He finds himself in the cockpit 30000 ft up , travelling at 500mph. With no outside help and little ground references to draw on , he effectively flies blind and manages to locate both washington and indeed the pentagon. Still not happy with his approach the freedom-hating muslim executes a 270 degree spiral turn while dropping 7000 feet in two minutes and with allah on his side and just a dash of beginners luck finds himself 20 feet of the ground, manages to counter the effects of 'ground effect' travelling at 500mph and slams his new boeing toy into the only recently reinforced section of the pentagon thus limiting both the damage and casualties. oh well you can't have everything can you..
  Watch loose change 2, but it shouldn't necessarily make anyones mind up. Its just the start that will bring, at first, far more questions than answers. Fortunately however, these questions are finally just ever so slightly starting to reach a far wider audience.

  It is a long video. There are two points in the front portion that I would question.
  First, the plane hits the Pentagon. We are not scientific professional, but common sense tells me, would the wings leave any mark on the building is depend on the hardness of both materials. The building is build to withstand and resist missile and explosive strike, the wings are hollow made of relative soft metal only joint together with bolts, rivets, and welding.
  When the front of the plane manage to punch through the wall create a hole, continue follow by the wings, the sweptback wings start to scratch the edge of the hole from the narrow part of both wings to the wider part, if the wall is made of sheet rock, the wings will cut through the sheet rock and leave a gap. If the wall is harden, the wings will force to be folded along the body of the plane with the jet engines went through the least resistance area--the hole. I would call it "corner pocket effect" in shoot pool term. When the ball hit the edge of the pocket, the ball can not break the rail and continue go outside of the pool table, it can only go into the pocket.
  
  Second, the WTC building had a different design than other high rises. other than the core, the strong outside walls are the main support, all hold together with steal truss (beam), it had no poles to support the floor. The video said the building should not like free fall, and the steel can withstand (melting point?) 3000 degree, but 2000 degree and the fire resistance coating was blow away by the explosion could soften its strength, the truss own weight and the weight of the upper floor would force it to loss grasp of both or either side of the wall, the upper floor will fall. If the immediate floor can't withstand the hammer by weight and force of the falling upper floor, no floor below that can hold because the weight and force are multiply, and the materials fall from above will push the wall outward, the trusses will pop out of grasp. I would call it "zipper effect". So free fall is about right.
  Any windows or walls will pop under extreme pressure and create popping sound and smoke.
  A building leaning and start to give weight is not random area, I think is the weaker whole side and start from a weakest point, and then the point next to it, so you can hear pop, pop, pop, pop....
  A few pictures and few seconds video then claim to no plane parts were seen, but had not claim they were watching the clean up job 24 hours a day, days after days inside the scenes.
  
  A video without scientific prove or test, no common sense, documents shown and other stuffs are conjecture can't be proven, with that try to outed a administration? No doubt this guy is the kind of Micheal Moore.

  In response to Activist, the new Loose Change 2 does not contain any reference to the pod story. You clearly believe that 9/11 was mass murder, as do Corey and Dylan the 2 directors, the reason for Loose Change 2 was to update the evidence, and to delete that which they couldn't substantiate. Instead of calling the directors frauds watch the new film and then decide. To suggest they made the film to make money is also off base.
