'Silent Hill' trailer sends a shiver up our spine
See how Christophe Gans has adapted the bestselling videogame for the big screen.
Jan 20 2006
The trailer for 'Silent Hill' has made its debut online, and it's an atmospheric glimpse at what could be one of the horror treats of the year.
Based on the hugely successful videogame of the same name, the film stars Radha Mitchell as a woman whose daughter disappears in a fog-filled town full of strange and threatening beings.
As she searches for the girl, her character learns more about the history of the town and slowly but surely uncovers the horrible truth of 'Silent Hill'.
Directed by Christophe Gans ('Crying Freeman', 'Brotherhood of the Wolf') the film also stars Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger and Laurie Holden, and is set to hit UK screens later in the year.

- I thought Silent Hill was an enjoyable film but I was a bit puzzled at the end. I don't want to give anything away to anyone interested in viewing this film but I would recommend it. Posted on May 09 2006 21:29
