Terry Gilliam heading west
The former Python is to adapt 'Anything For Billy', a western adventure about Billy the Kid.

After a difficult year in which 'The Brothers Grimm' disappointed his loyal army of fans and 'Tideland' failed to send festival audiences into raptures, Terry Gilliam has announced plans to make a new film inspired by the antics of wild west outlaw Billy the Kid.
'Anything For Billy' will be based on the novel of the same name by 'Brokeback Mountain' co-screenwriter Larry McMurty.
The film will follow the exploits of Ben Sippy, a writer from Philadelphia who heads west in search of adventure and ends up running into the legendary gunslinger.
With producer Jeremy Thomas still trying to get 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' off the ground, lets hope we'll see Gilliam back to his best over the next couple of years.
