Horror writers wanted
Golconda Films and The Script Factory are launching an exciting competition for budding horror screenwriters.

Fancy yourself as the next Wes Craven, John Carpenter or George Romero? Well, The Script Factory and Golconda Films are holding a horror screenwriting competition that will give you the chance to emulate the success of these horror giants.
Aimed at new screenwriters who have never sold or had a feature film screenplay optioned, entrants need to submit a full-length horror script to Golconda Films by March 17.
The winner will then see their screenplay put through the development process and receive a tidy £1,000 advance.
Two runners-up will be placed on a one-on-one script development programme at The Script Factory.

Demons are screaming my skin is cracked bleeding insects are attached to my open wounds feeding, sparsely my heartbeat is partially beating its dark and I’m barley alive what’s the meaning, of this cold abyss I’m surrounded by carcasses, trapped in this darkness exposing my cartilage, harshly I’m beaten my back is now carved with whips it seems as if Satan’s a cynical narcissist I think I have seen in my dreams before parts of this.

Hello, i have just stumbled upon this competition and am frustrated as I have a horror story, but I have not written it out. I cannot write it out in time as well as I need help with my dialogue skills. But i am very good at storytelling in person and composing music to my own stories, acting them out and even directing. I have a story you might be interested in. Psychological Horror. For now the title is 'BOYFRIEND'
and would be happy to talk to someone in person or on the phone and tell them my ideas. Its down to atmosphere, direction, score and acting. Storyline is simple, but has morals flung in all over the place...its just good ha ha. please contact me if interested. I am upset to not make the competition in time. If not, can you please put me in contact with someone who would be interested. I also have a story about a hitman, bounty hunters and many other bizzare characters who dont know eachother, but somehow all become connected in thier deaths. Thankyou. Mark Harvey.
