Give Craig a chance!

The 'Craig as Bond' debate contines to rage online.

Mar  2 2006

I appear to have stirred up a nest of secret service vipers when I published a story about the www.craignotbond.com website last week (click here for that one).

Scores of you wrote in to support the site that's trying to oust Daniel Craig as the lead in 'Casino Royale', and just as many seemed to agree with my opinion – that the whole thing was a bunch of bollocks written by Bond fans with too much time on their hands.

Well, it seems that I'm not the only one of that opinion, as www.givecraigachance.com has been created to support young Daniel and encourage a boycott of every site that 'disses' the new Bond.

Virgin Radio DJ Christian O'Connell has even lent his support to the enterprise, saying 'When I saw the website it echoed to me exactly why we should be giving Craig a chance. I'm behind this all the way, and will promote this website on my breakfast show.'

Feel free to lend your voice to either side of the debate below, but with The TOMB and Virgin behind Daniel Craig, I'd suggest that all the out there Craig-haters are fighting a losing battle.

I'm a huge fan of James Bond movies. when I first heard that a blond would be playing James Bond, I became surprised and skeptical but when I saw the preview, I really liked it. I just saw the movie last night and it's great. Craig is the best James Bond since Sean Connery. Also, he is very handsome and a great actor too. I hope he will read this and know that there are a lot of people who support him and look forward to seeing him in more Bond and other kind of movies. Posted on Nov 21 2006 04:47

Daniel Craig became a discovery of the year for me after I saw him in "Munich". Now I simply couldnt imagine anyone else as a new James Bond! Daniel is a perfect choice - a talented actor, oozing incredible charisma, and so handsome that u just cant take your eyes off him! He'll make an awesome Bond, seems to be born for suh role. He's the only reason I'm looking forward to seeing Casino Roylae so much :) Good luck, Daniel! Posted on Mar 09 2006 21:26
