Benicio Del 'Wolf Man'

'Sin City' star Benicio Del Toro is to play a werewolf in a forthcoming horror flick.

Mar 15 2006

In an inspired piece of casting news, 'Sin City' star Benicio Del Toro is to play 'The Wolf Man' in a new film version of the horror classic.

'Se7en' scribe Andrew Kevin Walker has been working on the script for several months, and while the film will be set in Victorian England like the 1941 Lon Chaney Jr original, Walker has apparently added several plot points that will take advantage of cutting edge visual effects technology.

Del Toro, who is a collector of 'Wolf Man' memorabilia, plans to start work on the film in early 2007, when he completes Steven Soderbergh's Che Guevara biopic 'Guerrilla'.
