Exclusive 'Knocked Up' clip
Time Out presents an exclusive clip from the comedy of the year
I first caught 'Knocked Up' at the SXSW Film Festival in Texas in March, and I’ve been raving about the film ever since. A laugh-out-loud comedy from the guys responsible for 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' and the equally brilliant, forthcoming 'Superbad', it has already grossed more than $150 million in the States, and is set to similarly pack them in when it hits UK screens on August 24.The film already had a successful ‘People’s Premiere’ at the Somerset House Film4 Summer Screen outdoor film festival, but if you missed that, and can’t wait until the end of the month, we’ve got an exclusive clip from the film for your viewing pleasure right now.
Featuring sisters Alison and Deb discussing Ben’s ‘romantic’ proposal, the scene features words of wisdom regarding how critical one should be of a partner at the start of a relationship, and is a good indication of humour peppered throughout the film. To see the clip, simply click here, and make sure you go see 'Knocked Up' come August 24.
