Ellen Page returns in split-screen

Ellen Page follows-up the monster success of 'Juno' with split-screen coming-of-age flick, 'The Tracey Fragments'

Canadian actress Ellen Page first caught our eye when giving a pederast a taste of his own medicine in ‘Hard Candy’, and then later as the titular wisecracking, up-the-duff teenager in gigantically popular ‘Juno’.

Always on the hunt for edgy new material, Page will next be seen in ‘The Tracey Fragments’ (watch the trailer) the strange, mixed-up tale of a girl in search of her young brother, which is told in split-screen.

When the film was released in Canada, its director Bruce McDonald, urged fans to download the separate strands of the film and re-edit them as they pleased – if only we were offered the chance to do something like that for, say ‘Me, You and Dupree’!

Though not slated for release in UK cinemas until later this year, ‘The Tracey Fragments’ will be playing at this year’s East End Film Festival on April 23 and will be followed by a live remix of the film by VJ Buzzard Buzzard and a live soundtrack by Youthmovies. Details of the screening can be found here.
