Fernando Meirelles, Oscar-winning director of ‘City of God’ and ‘The Constant Gardener’ returns home to direct a version of the Portuguese novelist José Saramango’s ‘unfilmable’ 1990s novel, ‘Blindness’.On the evidence of this new trailer, it looks more like something that Alejandro González Iñárritu (‘Amores Perros’, ‘Babel’) might make with its slightly grainy photography and multicultural cast, including Gael García Bernal, Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo.
