- I really enjoyed the film. Good actors, most entertaining movie! I am the fan of the series and found this story no worse than 1st and 2nd ones(the 3d is not as good, I agree - but wouldn't call it a FLOP). I will buy a DVD with this one when it's out - to watch it again. Posted on May 29 2009 08:23

What a appaling film - The film had a felling of a saturday morning film rather than a blockbuster.
As a avid avid wolverine fan (comics) i thought they would actuallly follow some of the story arcs form the comics but no - they made a incoherant film it does not follow on from the other x men films and does not follow the comics.
I thought this would be Marvel's trun to do a film with the same gravitas as the Dark knight ( both films follow the same kind of meaning) but unfortunelty the Dark Knight destroys wolverine easliy.
Marvel better learn qquickly that they can make dark films and make lots of money and not just make a flim for kids.
DC will be laughing to the bank....... Posted on May 18 2009 11:45 - Report as inappropriate

The film could have been a lot better! The story was very predictable, nothing like the flashbacks logan has in the previous films....
However Hugh is always good to watch :) Posted on May 12 2009 09:09 - Report as inappropriate

- Overall, a pleasing film and a nice surprise after the flop of x-men 3. I felt the film covered all the areas and made sure the audience were kept up to speed although some parts of the story are not inkeeping with the previous flashbacks etc in x-men 1+2 although this minor flaw can be overlooked. Some excellent performances from hugh jackman and liev schreiber really carry the movie and maintain audience interest through a series of exciting fight sequences altogether involving us mentally and emotionally in the characters journeys. Overall a well made film which can be enjoyed time and time again. Posted on May 10 2009 18:01

- this movie is absoulutely rubbish so if you have to go and see it buy loads and loads and loads of sweets and other sugary stuff because you will be sick so you don't have to watch it. Believe me, being sick is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better than watching the film. My sister thinks henry silike is hot but then the day after she said it she was sick Posted on May 09 2009 12:35

- I was really disappointed with this film. The previous Xmen films have an excellent reputation but sadly this did not live up to my expectations. In fairness there were some parts of the film I enjoyed and was happy to watch but this was few and far between. I’m glad I watched it but would have preferred to wait until it came on Sky Box Office as it was a lot of money and I was too distracted by my boredom to justify the expense. To sum up, it had some great action scenes and the acting was quite good but the film failed to maintain my interest all the way through. Posted on May 07 2009 17:34

As a big fan of the series, I waited with baited breath and made sure I was at the first screening at the multiplex. Popcorn in one hand and a cold zero in the other, all was set. There was no way anyone could get this one wrong!!!!!!!!!!! How misled was I!
Telling the history of how Logan became the claw wielding hero is this films goal. Why is there the anger in his belly, what did Stryker do and how were they aquainted and how did it all go wrong? Well, we are enlightened in all these matters. Unfortunately, the story is told with some very poorly acted and uncomfortable scenes, a way too long pre-plot that is nothing short of tiresome and action sets that are treated to camera cuts/shots too quick to really feel any awe whatsoever.
All in all, this film deserves to be nothing more than a total flop, disapear into some rusty film can and be lost for all time in a back lot and get remade in a few years, just like the Hulk. Sorry Hugh, I love you and you are well hot, but this film............it's just poorly scripted and terribly directed bordom that cost me £13+ to go see. Please revisit the Wolverine character again, but make sure you read the script first, this film is utter pants! Posted on May 03 2009 13:56 - Report as inappropriate
