'Southland Tales' site update

The website for Richard Kelly's film features new information and stills.

Apr  7 2006

Without doubt, my most eagerly anticipated film of the year is 'Southland Tales', Richard Kelly's follow-up to the brilliant 'Donnie Darko'.

Seeing how Kelly will top the convoluted brilliance of his time-travelling teen epic will be a treat, and the fact that he's cast Seann William Scott, Sarah Michelle Gellar and The Rock in the leads already has me scratching my head.

And while little is still known about the project at present, the film's website has been updated with several images from the film here and footage of a car buggering another car here.

If that's not enough to wet your 'Southland' whistle, click here for a site dedicated to Krysta Now, the porn star played by Gellar in the film.

The updates pose more questions than they answer at the moment, and the Krysta site features some terrible song lyrics that could seriously damage your health.

But with Kelly promising that the site will be one of the largest and most elaborate ever designed for a movie, expect them to grow and grow as the film's September 15 release date approaches.
