Herbie: Fully Loaded, or should it be Reloaded - as it is a remake of the 1969 comedy The Love Bug - is due for release sometime in 2005.

The original film, which introduced us to Herbie, tells the story of a down-on-his-luck race-car driver who becomes a champion with the help of a free-thinking, and pretty cute, Volkswagen Beetle. How much the remake will stick to the original is yet to be seen, but there are rumours that the latest version is to include 'racier' scenes than the original Disney flick.

The latest names to have joined the project include Matt Dillon, who takes the role of Trip, the bad boy of the racing circuit, and Michael Keaton, who will play Lohan's father. Additionally, Breckin Meyer is alleged to be considering the role of Lohan's brother.
