Mutant Malkovich

John Malkovich will star opposite Stephen Rea, Ron Perlman and Thomas Jane in 'The Mutant Chronicles'.

May  8 2006

Ron Perlman and Stephen Rea have joined John Malkovich and Thomas Jane in the cast of the forthcoming sci-fi flick 'The Mutant Chronicles'.

The film, which is based on a role-playing board game, is set in the 23rd Century when corporations rule the earth (so not that different to now then).

Jane plays a marine who leads his battalion against a band of mutants, while Perlman will play the leader of a religious sect who believes he can help save the planet.

'The Mutant Chronicles' will shoot in London and the Isle of Man this summer, with Simon Hunter ('Lighthouse') in the director's chair.
