Mike Myers gets himself a guru

The 'Austin Powers' star will play a self-help guru called Pitka in a new comedy feature.

May 31 2006

Having been out of the limelight for a while now, Mike Myers is preparing to burst back onto screens in the guise of a self-help guru called Pitka.

Myers will co-write, produce and star in the as-yet-untitled comedy, which will revolve around the character's efforts to help a couple with relationship troubles.

As he did with Austin Powers, Myers has developed the character through a series of low-key comedy shows, in which he apparently sported a fake nose, beard and a pair of buttless chaps. Sounds like another hilari-ass hit to us!
