'The Omen' scares up big business
John Moore's horror remake scores the biggest ever Tuesday opening in the States.
Jun 8 2006
'The Omen' made an outstanding debut at the US box office, grossing an estimated $12.6 million on opening day.
That gives John Moore's horror remake the biggest Tuesday debut in history, though the fact that films don't traditionally open on said day would have contributed to the record.
And in a spooky twist of fate, the film's total gross was $12,633,666 mirroring the film's 666 theme and 06.06.06 opening date.
'The Omen' is in UK cinemas now. To check out our exclusive interviews with the cast and director, head here.
