Scary sister act
A pair of British brothers take on 'A Tale of Two Sisters'.

One of the most disturbing films of recent years was the 2004 Korean horror flick 'A Tale of Two Sisters'.
Directed by Kim Ji-Woon, and based on a classic folk tale, it features ghosts, a haunted house and a wicked stepmother, and when I saw it late last year, it freaked me out like nobody's business.
In a move that underlines the brilliant and original creative thinking going on in Tinseltown at the moment, DreamWorks are giving it the remake treatment, with British ad directors Tom and Charlie Guard taking the helm.
Craig Rosenberg ('Jurassic Park III') is currently adapting the script which, according to the Hollywood Reporter, goes something like this: 'Teenage sisters Anna and Alex Rydell return home from a mental hospital only to find their recovery unravelling because of a cruel stepmother, clueless father and a lingering ghost'.
If all goes according to plan, 'A Tale of Two Sisters' should go into production this autumn.
