Hoffman 'Knows You're Dead'

Philip Seymour Hoffman has two high-profile projects in the pipeline.

Jun 19 2006

Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman has two star-studded projects on the horizon.

First up is 'Before the Devil Knows You're Dead', an action thriller about brothers who try to rob their parents house, only to hash the whole thing up.

Set to shoot in New York in July, the film also stars Ethan Hawke, Albert Finney and Marisa Tomei, and will be directed by Sidney Lumet.

Then in October, the 'Capote' star will appear opposite Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in political comedy drama 'Charlie Wilson's War'.

Based on George Crile's book, the long-gestating project (first reported here) will be directed by Mike Nichols and start production in October.
