Wilson finds 'Drillbit'

Owen Wilson is set to star in the new high school comedy 'Drillbit Taylor'.

Jun 20 2006

'Wedding Crasher' Owen Wilson has signed up to star in new comedy 'Drillbit Taylor' later this year.

Based on an idea by teen comedy master John Hughes, the film revolves around two high school students whose lives are made hell by the local bully.

To fight back, the boys hire Owen Wilson's character, who claims to be a 'soldier of fortune', although apparently turns out to be anything but.

Chris Brown, Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow have written the script, while Steve Brill ('Without a Paddle') is set to direct for a summer 2007 release.
