Hollywood is bracing itself for a Pitt explosion as one of its leading
men takes on numerous movie commitments. Earlier today
Paramount/Warner announced that he will reunite with 'Fight Club' director David Fincher for 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.
Based
on the F Scott Fitzgerald story of the same name, the film will feature
Pitt as a man who, upon reaching 50, begins to age backwards. Cate
Blanchett is set to co-star as his love interest.
And as well as filming 'Ocean's Thirteen' this summer, he is also considering Universal's 'State of Play'.
Based
on the hit British TV drama, the film may feature Pitt as a journalist
and former campaign manager for a rising politician who discovers that
his old boss is wrapped up in a murder conspiracy.
In addition, Pitt has finished filming his role as legendary outlaw Jesse James in Andrew Dominik's 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' and will also be a producer of Michael Winterbottom's 'A Mighty Heart', which will star his partner Angelina Jolie.
