'The Departed' trailer hits the net

See what the combined powers of Scorsese, DiCaprio and Nicholson have come up with.

Jul 31 2006

'The Departed', one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year, has finally made it to the net in trailer form.

Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film is loosely based on the brilliant Asian thriller 'Infernal Affairs', and fans of the original will spot several similarities with the 2002 film in this teaser.

What sets this remake apart however, is the heavyweight cast, which includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Ray Winstone and the inimitable Jack Nicholson, who appears to be chewing up scenery like it's going out of fashion.

'The Departed' will hit UK screens later this year, but to see the trailer now, head to our Top Ten Trailers page and click on the link.
