Ferrell and Reilly are 'Step Brothers'

Will Ferrell and John C Reilly are to play warring brothers in a new comedy.

Aug  4 2006

Having collaborated on 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' and the forthcoming 'Talladega Nights', director Adam McKay and star Will Ferrell are to team up again for the comedy 'Step Brothers'.

The funnymen will write the script, which tells the tale of two immature guys who still live with their respective single parents. Said parents meet, fall in love and get married, making the two middle-aged guys reluctant stepbrothers.

Ferrell will play one of the brothers, while his 'Talladega' co-star John C Reilly will play the other. Production is set to start next summer.
