Danny Dyer/Chris Smith Q&A

Chris tilly catches up with the star and director of new horror flick 'Severance'.

Aug 24 2006

Forget the much lauded (and somewhat over-hyped) 'The Descent'; in this humble horror geek's opinion, 'Severance' is the best British horror film of the last couple of years.

A gore-fest that effortlessly mixes comedy and horror, the film revolves around a group of office-workers who head to Hungary for a team-building exercise. Once there however, the party (who all happen to work for an international arms manufacturer – wink, wink) is bumped off one-by-one in increasingly unpleasant ways until they have to band together to fight for their lives.

This hugely enjoyable flick is directed by 'Creep' helmer Christopher Smith and stars cheeky cockney whelk Danny Dyer. I was lucky enough to catch up with the pair of them last week to discuss the film, so if you fancy hearing what they had to say, simply head to our 'Severance' feature here.
