'When Evil Calls', will you answer?

News of the world's first made-for-mobile horror series.

The world's first made-for-mobile horror series hit the very small screen this week in the shape of 'When Evil Calls'.

Starring Jennifer Lim ('Hostel'), Dominique Pinon ('Amélie') and Chris Barrie ('Lara Croft: Tomb Raider'), the film revolves around a mysterious text message that grants youngsters their wildest dreams, with violent and horrific consequences.

The groundbreaking series is the result of a collaboration between digital channel Zone Horror and Pure Grass Films, and consists of 20 brief episodes sent directly to your phone.

Speaking of the project, director Johannes Roberts said ''When Evil Calls' has forged new ground in my filmmaking career. Shooting two-minute episodes meant really focussing the writing and intensifying the story. The result is a fast-paced, hilarious and scary romp that I hope will be enjoyed on cell phones throughout the world.'
