Jan 12 2007
With the release of Hot Fuzz fast approaching, we've received exciting news from Edgar Wright himself. The writer-director got in touch to tell us about the 'Hot Fuzztival' he is running at the ICA from February 3-18, featuring the films that inspired his forthcoming action comedy.
They include 'Brannigan', 'Hard-Boiled', 'Man on Fire', 'The Super Cops' and a 'Danny Butterman double bill' of 'Point Break' and 'Bad Boys II'. Edgar will be on hand to introduce many of the films, and there will also be a centrepiece screening of 'Hot Fuzz', followed by a Q&A with the director and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
For more details, and to read Edgar's own take on the titles, head to the ICA site here, and look out for 'Hot Fuzz' in cinemas from February 16.

- Hot Fuzz. Mmm. What's missing from this British film is a picture of the thoroughly British Renée Zellwegger on its poster pursing her lips into an imitation of a wekk lubricated cats anus...as usual. Posted on Jan 12 2007 13:51
