Could it be Marty's year?
Scorsese picks up the DGA award and is now primed for the Oscars.

Seems like it's (finally) going to be Scorsese's year, as 'The Departed' helmer walked away with the DGA award for best director at the weekend, paving the way for victory at the Oscars at the end of the month.
Marty saw off competition from the likes of Bill Condon, Stephen Frears, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris to win the Directors Guild award, and he's now firm favourite to win the big one come February 25.
Which seems strange because, while being an excellent thriller, 'The Departed' is hardly the equal of previous Scorsese efforts like 'Taxi Driver', 'GoodFellas', 'Raging Bull' and 'Casino'.
But Hollywood's finest seem to have deigned this to be Scorsese's year, and with 52 of the last 58 DGA winners going on to pick up the Academy Award, expect the wee man to be celebrating come Oscar night.
