Chadha does 'Full-Frontal Snogging'
Gurinder Chadha is to direct a film version of teen novel 'Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Kissing'.

Having made one of the best teenage films of the last decade in the shape of 'Bend it Like Beckham', Gurinder Chadha is targeting that same generation with new film 'Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging'.
The imaginatively monikered flick will be based on Lousie Rennison's novel, which took the form of a 16-year-old girl's diary about the difficulties of surviving life as a teen. So think Adrian Mole with lipstick and tampons.
Chadha is currently adapting the book with fellow 'Beckham' scribe Paul Mayeda Berges, with production set to start on April 15.

- Wow. You guys are so lucky. I'm American, but I can do a British accent. No one would be able to tell if I went to England and pretended I lived there. Unfortunately, that would mean supplying a fake address. I wish I was from the UK. I wanted to audition for this so bad! i hope you guys get to find each other if you're going to the auditions.
and i think it's really cool how you guys have different schools for certain interests. ours is just mixed up. it's probably a lot more fun because you chose a school that focused on what you wanted to do. i would probably be having a lot more fun if i went to a fine arts school. - I rang the casting agency because i wanted to know how serious they were going to be about the age thing (im older that 16 - and if anyone else is, still send your cv and headshot bcuz they said they'll still consider if u have the right look) and the lady (tamara notcutt - one of the casting agents) said that it will be a franchise.
