'The Simpsons Movie' trailer is live

The first full trailer for the eagerly anticipated animated feature is funny as hell.

Feb 19 2007

The first full trailer for 'The Simpsons Movie' has hit the net, and as one would expect from Homer and co, it's jam-packed full of glorious gags.

Naked skateboarding, piggy tickling, the revelation of the exact location of Springfield – a plethora of punchlines abound.

With improved animation, the film also appears to have a more epic tone than the TV series, with trailer voice guy informing us that, doubtless due to some dastardly plot by Mr Burns, the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

18 years in the making, 'The Simpsons Movie' is released worldwide on July 27, while the trailer can be found on our 'Top Ten Trailers' page here.
