'Fuzz' sizzles nationwide
The cop comedy has already out-grossed Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's previous film 'Shaun of the Dead'.
Feb 22 2007
Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's brilliant 'Hot Fuzz' has had tills ringing all over the country this week, so much so that the cop comedy has already taken more than the boys' previous film 'Shaun of the Dead' at the box office.
That film grossed £6.69m in total, while 'Hot Fuzz' has taken £7.1m after just seven days, with no signs of slowing down.
It's also had the year's biggest opening weekend thus far (£5.9m), and following glowing reviews and doubtless great word-of-mouth, 'the fuzz' should continue to pack 'em in for weeks to come.
So congratulations Messers Pegg and Wright, and get working on a follow-up ASAP.

I normally read up on the films that a propose to see before I subject myself for 120 mins.
I had my niece and my nephew visiting and they suggested that film. We laughed so much our mouths and our sides were aching badly.
It was brilliant. Hot Fuzz! It was on FIRE!
I don't think their methods used would work with the Met...! Posted on Feb 23 2007 09:17 - Report as inappropriate
