'Basic Instinct 2' sweeps the Razzies

It's official - the Sharon Stone sequel is rubbish.

Feb 26 2007

The horrendous 'Basic Instinct 2' deservedly swept the board at the Golden Raspberries this year, winning four awards, including worst picture, worst sequel, worst screenplay and worst actress for Sharon Stone's laughable lead performance.

Midget/baby comedy 'Little Man' wasn't far behind with three awards, for worst actor, worst screen couple and worst remake or rip-off.

And the M Night Shyamalan backlash continues apace, with the former industry darling winning worst director and worst supporting actor for the incomprehensible 'Lady in the Water'.
