Famke Janssen travels '100 Feet'

The 'X-Men' star will play an abused wife in the new film from 'The Hitcher' writer Eric Red.

Apr 16 2007

Famke Janssen and Bobby Canavale have signed up to star in a horrific new fantasy thriller called '100 Feet'.

Written and directed by Eric Red, the film will revolve around a woman who murders her abusive husband only to be terrorised by his malevolent ghost.

And while that premise doesn't sound too appealing, the fact that Red wrote both 'The Hitcher' and 'Near Dark', two of the finest horror thrillers of the 1980s, suggests that this one will be worth a look when it hits screens at the end of the year.
