Battle of the 'it girls'

Sienna Miller replaces Lindsay Lohan in new Dylan Thomas film 'The Best Time of Our Lives'.

Apr 23 2007

UK 'it girl' Sienna Miller has replaced US 'it girl' Lindsay Lohan in a forthcoming film about Dylan Thomas entitled 'The Best Times of Our Lives'.

When Lohan and the film's financiers couldn't come to a deal, 'Factory Girl' star Miller stepped in to play the Welsh poet's wife, Caitlin MacNamara.

She joins a star-studded cast that includes Keira Knightley as love rival Vera Phillips, Cillian Murphy as Phillips' husband William Killick and Matthew Rhys as Thomas himself.

John Maybury will direct from a script by Knightley's playwright mother Sharman Macdonald, with shooting set to start in Wales next month.
