'The Incredible Hulk' gets his girl
Liv Tyler will star opposite Edward Norton in the big-budget sequel.
May 4 2007
Liv Tyler is set to make Hollywood's young starlets green with envy as she has been cast opposite Edward Norton in Marvel Studios' comic book sequel 'The Incredible Hulk'.
With producer Avi Arad looking to make a dramatic departure from Ang Lee's po-faced 'Hulk', Tyler will replace Jennifer Connelly as scientist Betty Ross, with Norton taking over from Eric Bana as the big green giant in a more action-oriented take on the character.
The film will follow Dr Bruce Banner as he tries to escape both his past and his angry affliction, with ex-girlfriend Ross re-entering his life in an effort to help him.
'The Transporter' helmer Louis Leterrier will direct, with production set to start in Toronto this summer for a 2008 release.
