The secret life of Mike Myers

Mike Myers is set to star in a remake of Danny Kaye classic 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'.

May 23 2007

The long-gestating remake of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' has got yet another star in the shape of Mike Myers.

The remake of the Danny Kaye classic has already been linked to the likes of Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy, but now it seems the 'Wayne's World' star will take the lead, with Jay Kogen currently writing the script.

As with the original, the film will revolve around a timid publisher whose daydreams allow him to escape into a fantasy world where he is the ultimate hero.

Before he starts work on the flick, Myers is expected to shoot comedies 'The Love Guru' and 'How to Survive a Robot Uprising'.
