'Fantastic Four' video interview

Chris Tilly interviews 'Rise of the Silver Surfer' director Tim Story in a boiling hot pod on the London Eye.

Jun 15 2007

'The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer' hits screens worldwide this week, and we've got all manner of suitably fantastic online content for your viewing pleasure.

First up is an interview that I conducted with director Tim Story in a (very hot) pod on the London Eye. The unusual choice of venue is down to the film featuring a spectacular action sequence that follows our spandex-clad heroes doing battle with the Silver Surfer on the Thames.

To see what Story had to say about returning to the franchise, shooting in London and featuring a 'Fantastic Baby' in future instalments, head to the interview here. Alternatively, to watch me practically melt as I ask questions, and to see a little more of the beautiful London skyline, have a look at the time-lapse camera footage here.

And to help you decide whether to watch the film this weekend, the Time Out review can be found here.
