Nolte and Wilson join 'Tropic Thunder'
Nick Nolte and Owen Wilson join Jack Black and Steve Coogan in Ben Stiller's forthcoming comedy.
Jun 18 2007
We first started talking about high-concept comedy 'Tropic Thunder' way back in 2004, when Ben Stiller announced plans to make a film about a group of actors using their boot camp experiences to fight a real-life war.
Now, more than two and a half years on, Stiller has locked down his cast, with Nick Nolte and Owen Wilson joining Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr and our very own Steve Coogan in the starry ensemble.
Based on the script by Stiller, Justin Theroux and Etan Cohen, 'Tropic Thunder' will shoot in Hawaii and Los Angeles this summer.
