Glen Morgan's dreaming of a 'Black Christmas'
The director has signed up for a remake of Bob Clark's brilliant, horrific original.

'Black Christmas' is without doubt one of the scariest movies of all time.
The simple, stark tale of a stalker terrorising the girls of a college sorority with obscene calls before going on to butcher several of them, it was a cult hit on its initial release in 1974.
Directed by Bob 'Porky's' Clark and starring Olivia Hussey, Margot Kidder and Keir Dullea, 'Black Christmas' is also credited with kicking off the slasher genre, with everything from 'Halloween' to 'Scream' owing a debt to the gruesome tale.
Well, news has reached Time Out Towers that Canadian company Copper Heart Entertainment is planning to remake the seasonal chiller later this year.
Producer Steve Hoban explained: 'It's going to be a classic horror film, but it won't be a gore-fest. This is an era of paranoia, so I think the timing could be really good, because this is a film all about paranoia.'
Writer-producer Glen Morgan, the man behind 'Final Destination' and 'Willard', has been signed on to direct, and the film should start shooting in Vancouver in September.
