Alexander Payne ('Election', 'Sideways') presides over the Un Certain Regard section, where he is joined by Betsy Blair, Sandra Den Hamer, Eduardo Antin, Gilles Marchand, Katia Chapoutier and Genevieve Welcomme.

Abbas Kiarostami ('Aitraaz', 'A Taste of Cherry') will oversee the Camera d'Or competition for best first film, with Patrick Chamoiseau, Malik Chibane, Romain Winding, Luc Pourrinet, Laura Meyer, Yves Allion, Roberto Turigliatto and Scott Foundas making up the jury.

Finally Edward Yang ('The Terroriser', 'Mahjong') presides over the Cinefoundation and Short Films jury, with Chantal Akerman, Yousry Nasrallah, Sylvie Testud and Colin McCabe all judging.

The Festival runs from May 11-22, and the Time Out film site will feature regular updates with all the news and reviews that matters.
