Alexei Sayle presents 'Gumshoe'
As part of Time Out's 'My Favourite Film' series, Sayle will present a special screening of the Albert Finney comedy.

This Sunday (June 12) Alexei Sayle will be at the Curzon Soho cinema to present a very special screening of 'Gumshoe'.
The writer, presenter and performer will introduce the Stephen Frears classic as part of Time Out's 'My Favourite Film' season.
Sayle's TV credits include 'The Young Ones', 'Alexei Sayle's Stuff' and 'The All New Alexei Sayle Show' and he has written regularly for The Independent, The Observer and Esquire.
Sayle has also appeared in numerous films, including 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' and 'Gorky Park', and his latest novel, 'Overtaken', was recently released to critical acclaim.
As for the film, 'Gumshoe' is a beautifully observed comedy that stars Albert Finney as a bingo caller who finds himself plunged into a murder mystery. The Time Out review can be found here.
