Scary movie 'Outpost' will be followed by World War II pic 'Eagle's Nest'.

'Dog Soldiers' director Neil Marshall has two new projects in the pipeline.

First up is 'Outpost', a sci-fi horror that tells the tale of a genetic experiment going horribly wrong.

Currently onto his third draft of the script, Marshall hopes to start shooting the film before the end of the year.

After that the writer-director plans to make 'Eagle's Nest', a World War II action-adventure that, quite bizarrely, is being pitched as a cross between 'Die Hard' and 'The Remains of the Day'.

Speaking to Screen Daily, Marshall revealed that 'Dog Soldiers' stars Sean Pertwee and Kevin McKidd may appear in both films.

'I've always had this idea of putting together a company in the same way John Ford did, using character actors again and again.'

In related news, Marshall's latest feature, 'The Descent' is due to hit UK screens on July 8 (click here to see the trailer), while a sequel to 'Dog Soldiers', entitled 'Dog Soldeirs: Fresh Meat', will go into production in Hungary in September under the guidance of 'The Bunker' director Rob Green.
