'V for Vendetta' trailer is online

See Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving in action in the controversial forthcoming film.

Jul 25 2005

The first trailer for 'V for Vendetta' has hit the net, and it suitably whets the appetite for the film's November 3 release.

Revolving around Natalie Portman's character Evey Hammond, the teaser kicks off with her kidnap and interrogation before progressing to chilling scenes of a totalitarian-state England of the near future.

The trailer then hints at conspiracy, chaos and mask-clad carnage before giving us our first glimpse of V himself as he puts his vendetta into action.

Having visited the set earlier in the year (click here to read that story), we have interviews with Portman, director James McTeigue and V himself, Hugo Weaving coming soon.

But for now, you'll just have to make do with the 'V for Vendetta' trailer here.
