Devil wanted for 'The Omen: 666'

Director John Moore is looking for a child to play the spawn of Satan in his forthcoming remake of 'The Omen'.

Aug  2 2005

Does your son sometimes seem like a little devil? If so, he could be just the young tyke 20th Century Fox are looking for to play Damien in their forthcoming film, 'The Omen: 666'.

Set to hit screens on June 6 2006 (to correspond with the '666' birthmark on Beelzebub junior's head), the film will be a remake of the 1976 horror classic that starred Gregory Peck, Lee Remick and Harvey Stephens as the horned one's wee sprog.

Casting director Susie Haggis ('Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and the 'Harry Potter' films) has been brought on-board to find a suitably creepy kid, while director John Moore is opening the net as wide as possible to fill the role.

'The casting process for a new Damien will be under way soon,' he explained. 'The role is open to all young mothers who want their son as the sons of Satan.'

Moore, who previously directed 'Behind Enemy Lines' and 'Flight of the Phoenix', plans to update the film by setting it in the present day against the background of the war on terror, but aside from that little will change from the original storyline.

'The Omen: 666' will go into production in October, and when the child from hell is chosen, rest assured we'll report on it here.

This film is proof that there is a battle going on between satan and God. God is vey real and heven and HELL is very real. when u die u will have to face God and bcos u av lied, stolen, sinned u will go to hell. HOwever God sent His Son Jesus to come and pay that fine for you, to take the punishement of hell upon himself so that u dont have to go there. Unless u give your life to Him, repent and get rite wid God, U WILL GO TO HELL! Hell is a place of eternal torment and God doesnt want u to go there, He loves you so much and has given u a chance to get right with Him and escape death, so accept this chance of a lifetime.
