Diane Keaton to team up with Mandy Moore

The pair will play mother and daughter in the forthcoming chick flick 'Because I Said So'.

Nov 16 2005

Singer-turned-actress Mandy Moore ('Saved!', 'A Walk to Remember') is to play Diane Keaton's daughter in the forthcoming feature 'Because I Said So'.

Based on a script by Karen Leigh Hopkins and Jessie Nelson, the film will star Moore as an unlucky in love teenager.

Keaton will play her meddling mother who spends much of the film trying to set Moore up with Mr Right.

'Because I Said So' is set to start shooting at the end of the month, with 'Heathers' helmer Michael Lehmann in the director's chair.
