'Superman Returns' teaser trailer
The first footage from Bryan Singer's eagerly anticipated feature has hit the net.

After months of waiting, the teaser trailer for 'Superman Returns' has finally hit the net.
Featuring a snatch of John William's classic score, snippets of Marlon Brando dialogue from the original film and a pair of soon-to-be iconic images (the Man of Steel bouncing through a corn field and then one of the Kryptonian beautifully framed by the sun), it sets the tone for what will doubtless be one of the biggest films of 2006.
However, on the negative side, there's not a lot of spectacular action, and much of the footage has already been seen in director Bryan Singer's previous online diaries.
So while it whets the appetite for fans of the artist formerly known as Kal-El, we hope that when the full trailer finally appears, it considerably ups the ante.
