'The Constant Gardener' wins big at the British Independent Film Awards
The brilliant thriller takes home the best film, best actor and best actress awards.

'The Constant Gardener' was the big winner at this year's British Independent Film Awards, taking home three of the top prizes, including best film.
Stars Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz were also victorious in the acting categories, although Fernando Meirelles was pipped to the post as best director by Neil Marshall for his horror flick 'The Descent'.
Rosamund Pike was named best supporting actor/actress for 'The Libertine', Emma Barclay won most promising newcomer for 'In My Father's Den', and Frank Cottrell Boyce won the best screenplay award for 'Millions'.
Elsewhere, World War II pic 'Downfall' took home the best foreign film award, while the best documentary prize went to Sean McAllister's 'The Liberace of Baghdad'.
