Seriously spooky trailer scares us senseless

Check out what Guillermo Del Toro has in store with his next fantasy feature, 'Pan's Labyrinth'.

Jan  4 2006

The trailer for Guillermo Del Toro's forthcoming fantasy feature 'Pan's Labyrinth' has hit the net.

The Spanish-language pic, written by the 'Hellboy' director, will loosely form the third part of his fantasy trilogy that kicked off with 'Cronos' and continued with 'The Devil’s Backbone'.

The film, which is set in post-Civil War Spain, revolves around a young girl who escapes her unhappy existence by retreating to a dark and foreboding fantasy world.

Starring Sergi Lopez, Maribel Verdu and Ariadna Gil, 'Pan's Labyrinth' doesn't yet have a UK release date.

The trailer is creepy as hell however, and if it's even half as good as 'The Devil's Backbone', we're all in for a truly horrific treat later in the year.
