Bond snapped on set

Paparazzi pics featuring Daniel Craig on the set of 'Casino Royale' have appeared online.

Feb  3 2006

The first pictures of Daniel Craig on the set of new Bond film 'Casino Royale' have appeared online.

This set of paparazzi shots features a suitably buff Craig looking like he's just had an almighty scrap on the film's Prague set. To see the pics, click here.

And in related news, it seems that in spite of production starting this week, director Martin Campbell has yet to find his Bond girl or his Bond villain.

Thandie Newton and Rose Byrne are currently the frontrunners to be cast as the lucky lady in question, but as for the baddie, there's been nary a whisper thus far. Any suggestions from the TOMB readers out there?

Surely no one can be interested in yet another dull bond movie. To add excitement, maybe the bond girl and villian could be cardboard cutouts of the 60's versions. Can't wait for the Premiere to see who from Hollyoakes and Changing Rooms will be there. Posted on Feb 06 2006 08:26

Why not put a new age spin on it - have bond boys instead of girls - i've heard that McFly were interested, as were Charles and Eddy and Milli Vanilli. Then the bond villain could be an evil woman, like The Witch from Simon and The Witch, or perhaps the Vicar of Dibly? Posted on Feb 03 2006 12:10

Slick and smooth with a dastardly twinkle in his eye and the ability to deliver one-liners with aplomb? It can only be one man - Des Lynam. Posted on Feb 03 2006 09:17
