Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Like his French namesake, Becker seems most at ease with masculine institutions: the cops of The Onion Field, the cadets of Taps and, here, a team of high-school wrestlers. The imposing Fiorentino helps adjust the gender balance, Modine gives his customary un-showy performance and Ponicsan tries to find a few fresh-seeming angles in his coming-of-age scenario. Still, it does cover awfully familiar ground.
